Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, at Puy-deDomme, France on the 9th of August 1976. Audrey is the largest child of 4 children. Since a young age, both her dental doctors parents and teacher mother encouraged her passion of theatre and drama. It was this love that overshadowed her initial wish to become a an animal scientist. Early success and a rapid increase in recognition was a sign of her development as an actor. Following her studies in 1998 she participated in a French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors before beginning acting professionally. Tautou was educated at Institut Catholique de Paris, was a churchgoer in her youth and was brought up Catholic. But she is now separating herself from this background. Neben her acting, Tautou took up modeling and was the model of L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. In the past, during Arles Arts Festival, Arles Arts Festival, she showed a collection of photographs under the heading Superficial. The majority of her photography is focused on the spotlight and celebrities and then turns her camera to those who scrutinized her following her sudden rise to stardom in the film Amelie and several self-portraits. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom as well as international recognition with her first big role, starring as a lead character in the film Le Fabuleux Destin de l'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was recognized internationally because of its box-office success. It was also praised in award ceremonies all over the world. Amelie is the most successful french-language film to hit the US. Following the release of this film, Tautou starred in a variety of films, ranging from British dramas up to Jean Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles. She then moved to Hollywood and was in the film with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
