Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is a Mexican American musician and popular actress. Her mother was her primary caregiver in the USA in a place where she endured many racial taunts that made her feel like an unwanted person. When she attended a 9th grade school audition in which she was praised for her voice, she started to build confidence. She not only gained confidence through the audition however, she also re-evaluate her plans for her career. In 1992, she earned her master's degree from the city's Julliard School. She was 23 when she had her first Broadway show with Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her film debut You've Got Mail were both major breaks. Her biggest break came with the role of The Lady of The Lake, in the first Broadway version of Spamalot. She won the Tony Award and received great appreciation for her role. Following that, she was cast as the character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her becoming more famous. Apart from having a cult following as a singer, she also released her own solo album and a longer piece. Additionally, she works as an LGBT activist.
